Leakage protector, referred to as leakage switch, is also called leakage circuit breaker. It is mainly used to protect personal electric shock when leakage fault occurs in equipment and when there is a fatal danger. It has overload and short circuit protection functions. It can be used to protect overload and short circuit of lines or loads, and can also be used as infrequent switching start-up of lines under normal circumstances.

At present, there are many kinds of leakage protection devices used in the market, but the general principles are not much different. The leakage protector is mainly composed of three parts: detection element, intermediate amplification link, operation actuator
1. Detection element: composed of current transformer, which detects leakage current and sends out signal
2. Amplification link: the weak leakage signal amplification, according to the different devices can be used mechanical or electronic
3. actuator: after receiving the signal, the thyristor changes from the off state to the on state. after the main coil is energized, the main switch changes from the closed state to the open state, thus cutting off the power supply

Applied to the field of leakage protector, it can provide a relatively complete component solution. For example: AC input anti-surge varistor (MOV), AC rectifier diode rectifier (Diode) or rectifier bridge (Bridge), the power supply terminal overvoltage protection transient suppression diode (TVS), the entire circuit control core integrated circuit (IC), circuit action actuator (SCR) and so on.
